Department of K-culture

 Overview


The Department of K-Culture operates a practice-oriented curriculum that connects cultural planning, content, and international issues on the basis of a systematic understanding of the history, culture, and societies of Korea and Asia.


The department is designed to help students grow into global culture professionals through a staged curriculum progressing from foundational theory to advanced analysis and field practice

 Educational Objectives and Ideal Graduate Profile

 

Interdisciplinary Global Culture Professional: A creative professional who comprehensively understands history, culture, and international issues and can apply that knowledge in cultural settings.


Field-Oriented Problem-Solving Planner: A practical professional with problem-solving and planning capabilities in locally grounded fields such as tourism, urban development, MICE, branding, and multicultural policy.


Cultural Mediation and Communication Professional: A global cultural mediator capable of understanding and coordinating intercultural conflict.
