(Division of Earth and Environmental System Sciences)Major of Environmental Geosciences
- Object of Education
The department is conecrned with the study of the future earth environment through the analysis of the past and the present geological environments. It also emphasizes the analysis of geologecal hazards including earthquake, slope stability, subsidence, and the environmental problems related with soil and groundwater contamination and the exploration of mineral and energy resources.
