The Department of Energy Resources Engineering offers a wide range of courses for exploration and exploitation of energy resources. These include petroleum exploration, future energy resources, marine geology and geophysics, rock mechanics, field survey and training, and geotechnical engineering. The department has a number of research programs central to energy resources and maintains state-of-the art research facilities for oil and gas exploration and marine geophysical survey.
