(Division of Earth and Environmental System Sciences)Major of Oceanography
- Object of Education
The Department of Oceanography provides specialized knowledge of oceanography in a comprehen-sive and systematic manner to promote understanding of physical, chemical, geological, and biological phenomena that occur in the ocean. The department aims to raising specialists who can contribute to the research and development of oceanographic technology, the effective utilization of marine resour-ces, and the conservation of the marine environment.
