Environmental Hydrogeology Lab.

The Environmental Hydrogeology Lab (EHL) performs fundamental and applied researches on the transport of fluids and contaminants in the shallow and deep subsurface environments. We apply a combination of theoretical, computational, and experimental methods to deal with various environmental issues in the subsurface from pore scale up to the field scale. Our current research scopes cover soil and groundwater contamination and remediation, gas and radioactive nuclide migration in deep radioactive waste disposal, and geological carbon dioxide sequestration.
