Current Research Interests The flow characteristics of fluid in industrial systems such as pipes, ducts, and valves are critical factors determining design quality and energy efficiency. CFD simulation has long demanded high levels of expertise, extensive computation time, and complex preprocessing procedures, remaining a field heavily dependent on specialists. Our laboratory is currently developing a Hybrid AI-CFD framework that automates the entire workflow, spanning flow domain generation, mesh construction, solver execution, and post-processing, requiring only CAD geometry and basic boundary conditions as input. By combining physics-based CFD solvers with data-driven AI models, we are pursuing preprocessing time reduction of over 70% and predictions within 10% error of conventional CFD results. |
