Biotechnology is a core field, which will lead domestic and foreingn biotechnological industry in 21st century.
Generally industries related to BT are usually high-profitable, and bring highly technology-intensive special quality, and it exert big ripp;e effect in various field such as medicine, food, bio-energy, and bioremediation industry. As biotechnology, expecially, is a main strategic field led by many governments in the world, our department focuses on educating great engineers and scientists, who are going to rule the 21st century of bio-industry.
We maintain diverse curriculum in order to allow students to learn about wide variey of basic and advanced biotechnological study based on the general research of marine organisms. The students will choose which courses the will take, and therefore they will participate in the lectures in an active environment and atmosphere. Basic courses such as biochemisy, molecular genetics, microbiotics, and organic chemistry, as well as advanced courses such as genetic engineering, biochemical engineering, and fermentation engineering deal with topics related to application of biosystems comprising microorganisms and animal and plant cells.
The students will learnconcepts of basic and advanced theories, therefore various experimental sessions will flourish the students' ability to understand diverse phenomena. We are training professionals through these courses and providing many fields like bioengineering research, bioindustry and fisheries.
