스마트양식시스템 연구실은 AI·영상·IoT 등 4차 산업혁명 기술과 수리·수리학(유체/물질전달) 기반 공학 설계를 결합해, 양식 현장에서 가장 큰 과제인 노동력 절감, 생산성 향상, 환경부하 저감을 동시에 달성하는 기술을 연구합니다. 특히 양식의 핵심 공정인 사료공급 방식을 고도화하기 위해, 카메라 영상에서 양식생물의 행동을 분석해 “먹을 때만, 필요한 만큼” 공급하는 지능형 사료공급 시스템을 개발하고 있습니다. 또한 순환여과양식(RAS)·바이오플락(BFT)·플락포닉스(FLOCS)와 같은 친환경 폐쇄식 시스템에서 수질·에너지·미생물·사육관리를 통합적으로 최적화하고, 그 과정에서 나타나는 생리·생태 변화(성장, 스트레스, 건강도 등)를 정량화하여 운영 조건–생물 반응의 상관관계를 밝혀냅니다. 우리 연구실은 실제 양식현장 적용을 목표로 하며, 학생들은 연구를 통해 데이터 기반 문제해결 능력과 장비/시스템 개발 역량을 동시에 키울 수 있습니다.
