저희 연구센터는 자원, 에너지, 환경
분야의 도메인 지식과 4차 산업혁명을 대표하는 지능정보기술(AICBM)의
융합을 통해 지속 가능한 미래를 위한 혁신 기술을 연구하고 개발하는 데 전념하고 있습니다. 이곳에서는
인공지능(AI), 사물인터넷(IoT), 클라우드 컴퓨팅, 빅데이터, 스마트 디바이스, 증강(AR)/가상(VR)/혼합(MR)현실, 로보틱스(자율주행, 드론, 협동로봇), 3D 프린팅 등 4차산업혁명의
핵심 기술들을 통해 우리의 미래를 보다 안전하고 지속 가능하게 만들기 위한 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
스마트마이닝 연구실과 에너지 ICT 연구실을 포함한 저희 연구센터에서는
스마트마이닝, 스페이스 마이닝, AICBM 융합, 광산 계획 및 설계, 개방형 광산 운영, 광산 안전, 지리정보시스템(GIS),
3D 지오모델링, 수문 분석, 에너지 분석 및
시뮬레이션, 태양에너지 변환 시스템 설계, 광산 내 재생에너지
활용 등 광범위한 연구 분야를 다루고 있습니다.

새로운 아이디어를 탐구하고, 혁신적인 기술을 개발하여 우리 사회와 산업의 지속 가능한 발전에 기여하고자

Welcome to the Geo-ICT Research Center at Pukyong National University!
We are dedicated to researching and developing innovative technologies for a sustainable future by integrating domain knowledge in resources, energy, and environment with the cutting-edge technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (AICBM). Here, we explore the synergies between artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, big data, smart devices, augmented (AR)/virtual (VR)/mixed reality (MR), and robotics, including autonomous driving, drones, and collaborative robots, aiming to make our future safer and more sustainable.
Our center encompasses two research labs: the Smart Mining Lab and the Energy ICT Lab. We are committed to a wide range of research areas, including Smart Mining, Space Mining, AICBM Convergence, Mine Planning and Design, Open Pit Mining Operation, Mine Safety, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 3D Geo-modeling and Geostatistics, Hydrological Analysis, Energy Analysis and Simulation, Design of Solar Energy Conversion Systems, and Renewable Energy Systems in Mining.
